# In-game assets

Players need different assets to participate in the game: in-game currencies, characters, and additional items. Each in-game asset has its distinct purpose and function within the game. These items will be available on the [Player Dashboard](/white-paper/gameplay/player-dashboard.md) page and additional ones can be purchased in the [marketplace](/white-paper/ecosystem/free-market.md) or Codyfight’s official shop.
