🗡️Scraplands

History
Once the suburban area for the people that desired white picket fences is now a flat field loaded with rustic metal, rubble, and tumbleweeds. Before the fall of humanity, people lived here in peace, commuted to work, children played outside in the grass, and families walked in the parks and communal areas.
But with the growing harsh weather conditions, storms eventually became dangerous. After humans abandoned their homes, the paradise dream was left to crumble to the ground. Over time the raging storms destroyed and scattered the old structures all over the area. Constant rainfalls corroded the lands. And strong winds buried the buildings in the dirt. Over the centuries the weather calmed down. Anything that still stands is the remains of the ancient world.
And yet some still manage to find something valuable in those rustic piles of scraps. As the saying goes: one man's trash is another man's treasure. Creatures that roam this land are scavengers, tinkers, and thieves. Whatever they find here is vital for their survival. They scavenge the areas for anything that could still be used or repaired. If it is shining then it is valuable.
